Position Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: * Identify ongoing training to support professional development to maintain continuous improvement as a major corporate initiative * Participate in maintaining and furthering existing client relationships with the goal of maximizing repeat business opportunities for the firm * Perform and direct market research to identify potential markets and clients, consistent with the approved market strategy * Prepare and implement a business development action plan for the multifamily market as well as monitoring the execution of these action plans as they relate to overall corporate goals and initiatives. * Assist in the completion of proposals, presentations, RFP's, RFI's and marketing materials * Perform additional assignments as requested by the President * Provide positive leadership in mentoring employees of Meyer Najem and support team building as a major corporate initiative * Represent Meyer Najem in a leadership position within various Industry Forums * Display proven experience in maintaining and utilization a prospect and follow up tracking system using our CRM system, Outlook or another recognized industry tool * Project a professional image always when representing the firm * Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and implement marketing, social media, and web development strategies consistent with Meyer Najem's corporate strategy Minimum Qualifications * Possess a four (4) year degree with an emphasis in Business, Marketing or Construction Technology * At least five (5) years of experience in business development, with at least 3 years in multifamily construction. * Proven track record of securing and managing multifamily projects. * Familiarity with CRM systems and industry-standard software. * Display proven knowledge of business development skills and tactics through direct experience or through professional training and development * Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to always project a positive and professional image for Meyer Najem Employee Benefits Include * 100% Employee Owned (ESOP) * Affordable Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance * Generous PTO and Holidays * Friday morning breakfast, monthly company cookouts, $150 per year for Meyer Najem SWAG * Short and Long-Term Disability * Employer paid and voluntary life insurance * 401k Traditional & 401k Roth Match * HSA, HRA and FSA options * Employee Referral Program and Wellness Program * Relocation Assistance & Per Diem * Employee Assistance Program (EAP) * Education Reimbursement
