Full description of the position

JOB SUMMARY: The Customer Success Key Account Manager maintains and expands client accounts, focusing on relationship building, churn prevention, open order management, problem solving, proactive customer communications, forecasting, customer feedback, CRM management, account management, and pricing development. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Cultivates relationships with internal and external constituencies such as new, and existing customers. * Communicates clearly with customers, Technology, Supply Chain, Operations and Sales to ensure an exceptional customer experience. * Serves as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring their needs are met. * Identifies opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services to current clients, with the goal of increasing revenue within those accounts. * Manages a pipeline of potential sales leads and opportunities to nurture leads and close new business. * Builds customer relationships and drives growth through strategic inside sales; Understands customer needs and buying habits to find opportunities and address gaps in buying patterns. * Promptly partners with internal parties as appropriate to expeditiously work through any project issues/challenges, keeping customers timely informed and updated. * Collaborates with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions to client requirements, providing excellent customer support and market growth. * Maintains a deep understanding of the company's products and services to effectively communicate their value to clients. * Tracks sales-related activities, client retention, and revenue growth to meet and exceed sales targets. * Presents key customer updates to stakeholders, executives, and team members. * Performs all other related duties and assignments as required. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: * Associates Degree required; Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred * One (1) year prior experience in sales working directly with customers preferred (either over phone or face-to-face) * Or equivalent combination of education/experience * Previous experience in the manufacturing or technical industry is preferred. COMPUTER SKILLS: * Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook * Skilled in CRM software and sales tools. * Experience with ERP systems preferred OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: * Success requires strong communication, strategic planning, and influencing skills. * Strong leadership skills to oversee and manage customer accounts. * Demonstrated ability to develop engaged customer relationships & implement strategic concepts. * Previous experience of preparing professional sales presentations and quotes for customers. * Ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment. * Excellent written and verbal skills for communicating with clients and teams. * Capable of managing time, territory, and account pipelines well. * Able to resolve customer issues and handle complex situations. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with team members, stakeholders and other departments. * Highly organized and detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset. * Exceptional analytical skills to proactively identify potential issues and devise feasible solutions. * Strong time management and organizational skills for effective scheduling and meeting deadlines. * Outstanding customer service skills and a commitment to ensuring quality.
