Summary We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Apartment Rental Manager to oversee day- to-day operations of a small apartment community in Phoenix. This role combines property management, tenant relations, basic maintenance/handyman tasks, and oversight of unit renovations. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and capable of completing or coordinating repair and turnover work to keep the property running smoothly. YOU WILL ONLY REPORT TO ONE OWNER. All properties are owned by the employer. Key Responsibilities -MUST SPEAK SPANISH Property Management & Tenant Relations * Collect rent and maintain accurate payment records * Respond promptly to tenant concerns, questions, and service requests * Enforce lease agreements and community rules * Conduct move-in and move-out inspections * Prepare and deliver notices as needed * Show available units to prospective tenants (can be after business hours or on the weekends) Maintenance & Handyman Work * Perform routine property maintenance, minor repairs, and preventative upkeep * Complete or coordinate light electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry tasks * Maintain clean and orderly common areas, landscaping, and exterior grounds * Respond to maintenance emergencies quickly and effectively * Monitor property systems and equipment, reporting issues that require licensed professionals Unit Turnover & Renovations * "Flip" units when they become vacant: cleaning, patching, painting, minor repairs, fixture replacements, etc. * Oversee or participate in renovation projects, ensuring quality and timely completion * Coordinate with contractors when specialized work is required * Maintain inventory of supplies and materials Administrative Duties * Keep records of maintenance work, expenses, and vendor interactions * Assist in budgeting for repairs, materials, and capital improvement projects * Provide regular updates to property owner/management Qualifications * Strong handyman/maintenance skills (general repairs, painting, minor plumbing/electrical, etc.) * MUST SPEAK SPANISH * Previous property management or leasing experience preferred * Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently * Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (you will need access to a truck as well as basic tools). Specialty tools will be purchased/provided by employer * Ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, and materials as needed Compensation * 45,000-50,000 /year + bonus * Can also negotiate discounted or free rent for a 4bd/2ba House, 2bd/1ba Apartment, 1bd/1ba Apartment of Studio unit. * Ability to coinvest on new acquisitions Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year Expected hours: 20 - 60 per week Benefits: * Employee discount * Flexible schedule * Paid time off * Professional development assistance Work Location: Hybrid remote in Paradise Valley, AZ 85253
