Role Summary We are seeking a results-driven Preservation Advisor to actively engage prospective commercial and residential clients. You won't just be a "salesperson"--you will be a relationship builder and solution provider within the historic preservation community. Your goal is to provide the right product or service to meet our clients' unique needs while upholding national preservation standards. What You 'll Do (Responsibilities) * Consultative Sales: Present, promote, and sell restoration services using a consultative approach to achieve maximum client satisfaction. * Lead Generation: Act as a "fanatical prospector," reaching out to potential leads through multiple channels and seeking out "guerilla marketing" opportunities. * Proposal Development: Create solution-oriented project proposals that balance company profit goals with the specific needs of historic properties. * Project Liaison: Participate in "hand-off" meetings with production and maintain clear communication with Project Leads and clients to ensure scope is followed perfectly. * Community Presence: Be active and visible in local workshops, networking events, and historic preservation gatherings. * Reporting: Supply management with regular reports on customer needs, interests, and competitive activities. What You Bring (Qualifications) * Industry Knowledge: Experience in the construction industry is highly preferred. * Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with Apple products, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Slack, and Knowify is a major plus. * Mobility: Must be a licensed driver with a reliable vehicle and the ability to travel throughout Florida and the Southeast. * Character: A commitment to integrity, continuous improvement through feedback, and staying abreast of preservation best practices. Physical Requirements * Ability to sit, walk, and stand regularly; use hands repetitively to operate equipment; and lift up to 25 pounds.
