Full description of the position

We have an opening for a full-time Leasing Professional for an apartment community (200+ units) located in Moreno Valley, CA. You will be responsible for the sales process from beginning to end. We are looking for an enthusiastic Leasing Professional to greet prospective residents, touring, follow-up, and leasing apartment homes. Must be a team player. PLEASE NOTE: THE WORK SCHEDULE FOR THIS POSITION WILL BE TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY FROM 9:00AM TO 6:00PM. WORKING ON SATURDAY IS A MANDATORY REQUIREMENT OF THIS POSITION.

Responsibilities

include, but are not limited to the following:

• Work to optimize occupancy by marketing available units and securing new leases through tours with prospective residents; Schedule appointments for showings.
• Make sure that available units are clean and ready for showing.
• Maintain knowledge of local market conditions; Responsible for shopping competition and maintaining market surveys.
• Answer and respond to phone calls.
• Track all leads and follow-up with prospects.
• Ensure all aspects of the move-in process are completed prior to move-in. Activities may include resident screening, pre-tour unit, income verification, file maintenance and compliance.
• Assist in resolving resident issues in a timely and courteous manner.
• Physically inspect property to insure it best represents the standards of the community prior to each leasing day.
• Additional duties as assigned and/or required.
• Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays. Required Experience/Education:
• Minimum 2 years in a multi-family housing leasing role.
• Minimum 1 year Yardi and CRM experience.
• Bilingual; Communicate fluently in Spanish
• Friendly personality and good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent follow-up and closing skills required.
• Requires a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong computer skills.
• Knowledge of the Orlando multi-family housing market is desired.
• Solid understanding of the day-to-day operations of property management.
