Full description of the position

Overview We are seeking an Inside Sales & Parts Specialist position who will assist customer with the identification of needed parts, order entry and sale of such parts, processing returned parts and assisting the warehouse team and others during slower periods. The position requires mechanical equipment experience and/or good technical ability, preferably in the HVAC industry. Good organization skills, computer competency, and strong customer service skills are critical. Responsibilities * Process customer phone calls, emails and walk-in orders/concerns in a very timely manner * Accurately select parts as needed * Compile and maintain reference manual of parts information to assist with selling * Send requests for "new item entry" in the system, when necessary * Enter Sales Order information into system (Acumatica) to execute sales transactions * Create and process Purchase Orders through our system (Acumatica) to Vendors when stock is not available * Respond to all phone calls and emails in as timely, professional, and courteous a manner as possible to give each customer an exceptional experience. * Provide product, service, and equipment information to customers, as needed * Assist teammates, as may be needed from time to time, to build pumps and boilers * Actively listen for customer issues and opportunities to refer customers to a Sales Engineer to potentially sell the customer additional equipment to meet their needs * Communicate customer or pricing issues, trends, or concerns to management * Investigate and validate returned parts from customers and undertake the process, where possible, to return the parts to the manufacturer for credit * Coordinate with Supply Chain personnel to have equipment shipped to customer * Maintain familiarity with system and related software programs * Perform rotating on-call function to provide after-hours customer service * Assist warehouse and other personnel during slower time periods (short or long) * Other processes, projects, and duties, as may be assigned from time to time * Requirements * Adhere to the company's Core Values of Passion to Serve Customers, Success Driven, Eager to Learn, Teamwork, and Great Attitude * Good communication skills * Customer service skills * Helpful, but not required: Ability to operate pallet jack and forklift to move inventory and perform other warehouse duties Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
