Job Overview We are seeking a System Manager to oversee the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our internal and client-facing cloud-based portals. This role will serve as the bridge between business operations, clients, and the development team , ensuring smooth issue resolution, feature implementation, and system performance. Key Responsibilities System Issue Management & Resolution * Oversee the entry, tracking, and resolution of software bugs reported by internal users and clients. * Use Zoho to manage tickets, prioritize issues, and ensure timely resolution. * Communicate with the development team (India-based and remote employees) via Skype to coordinate fixes. * Test and verify bug fixes before rolling out updates to users. Feature Development & Enhancement * Work with internal teams and clients to gather new feature requests and enhancements. * Utilize various tools including Powerpoint, Word, Google , etc. to create requirements documents. * Submit detailed requirements to capture to the Zoho ticketing system and oversee the development progress. * Ensure proper testing before deployment and coordinate feature releases to the company and clients. Client & Internal Support * Serve as the primary technical liaison between clients, sales staff, and the development team. * Help inside sales staff and clients with troubleshooting, training, and feature adoption. * Maintain documentation and training materials for both internal and external users. System Performance & Security * Monitor system performance, uptime, and security on AWS. * Coordinate with developers to optimize database performance (MySQL). * Ensure system scalability and security best practices. Requirements * Experience in software project management (preferably in SaaS, logistics, or 3PL). * Strong understanding of ticketing systems (Zoho preferred) and development workflows. * Experience with Powerpoint, Google. * Some familiarity with AWS, Python, MySQL, and cloud-based platforms is a plus. * Ability to coordinate with overseas development teams via Skype. * Strong problem-solving and communication skills to liaise between business and tech teams. * Experience with Slack for client communication helpful. Preferred Qualifications * Prior experience in a 3PL, logistics, or SaaS-based business. * Understanding of UI/UX best practices for client portals. * Basic knowledge of QA testing and system debugging. Pay based on experience & ability.
