Full description of the position

Position Summary The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling guest rooms, meeting space, and hotel services. This role focuses on developing new business, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals for transient, group, and corporate segments. Key Responsibilities * Develop and implement sales strategies to increase room, banquet, and event revenue * Prospect and generate new business through cold calls, networking, site visits, and referrals * Maintain and grow relationships with corporate accounts, travel agents, and group clients * Respond to RFPs, negotiate contracts, and close group and corporate business * Conduct hotel tours and client site inspections * Collaborate with revenue management to ensure competitive pricing and yield strategies * Work closely with operations and catering teams to ensure seamless event execution * Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasts, and client information in the CRM system * Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals * Represent the hotel at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions * Monitor market trends and competitor activity Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred) * 2-5 years of hotel sales or hospitality-related sales experience * Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets * Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills * Excellent organizational and time-management abilities * Proficiency with CRM systems, PMS, and Microsoft Office * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed Skills & Competencies * Relationship building and client management * Strategic thinking and problem-solving * Strong written and verbal communication * Attention to detail and follow-through * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Results-driven with a customer-focused mindset Physical & Work Requirements * Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods * Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally * Local travel may be required for sales calls and events Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Experience: * Direct Hotel Sales: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
