Flooring Estimator and Sales Specialist At Floor Source, we offer employees an exciting, fast-paced, yet friendly work environment. In this role, you will help grow sales from walk-in customers as well as from existing commerical accounts and develop new business relationships that result in increased sales of our product lines. You will be responsible to meet with commercial and residential customers in and out of the showroom, assessing their needs for new floor-covering and providing solutions to satisfy those needs from the widest selection of brand carpet and flooring products. Pay: Based on experience Hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday, Saturday 9:00am to 3:00pm *Some Saturdays required ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Help educate our walk-in and commercial clients with our flooring products. * Develop relationships with current customers and gain potential new customers * Understand our products, our market competition and how to position products to overcome these factors * Quote prices, discuss credit terms and prepare sales contracts for customer orders and negotiate prices with vendors. * Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of company's delivery schedules. * Investigate and resolve customer claims/problems with deliveries, returns and credits * Build and develop relationships with contractors, builders, property managers and developers by calling on existing and prospective customers. * Collaborate with other inside sales staff to ensure exceptional service is provided to clientele. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: * Sales and Negotiations skills * Self-Starter who will go above and beyond to get the job done. * Problem solving skills * Excellent communication and Ability to overcome objections and challenges to gain the customer's trust * Flooring experience is preferred * Outside sales or Construction experience preferred * HIGHLY driven to succeed * MUST be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment * In this position you will be a part of a team who is responsible for growing the business! * Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, various estimating software) * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Employee discount * Health insurance * Paid time off Work Location: In person
