Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated In-Home Sales Consultant, also known as a Solution Specialist, to drive high-ticket deck sales directly within customers' homes. This dynamic role combines outside sales expertise with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a key player in our business development efforts, you will identify opportunities, build relationships, and close sales that transform spaces and elevate lifestyles. Duties * Conduct in-home consultations to showcase premium deck solutions, providing detailed product demos and tailored recommendations. * Develop new business opportunities through cold calling, lead generation, and territory management to expand your customer base. * Manage existing accounts by nurturing relationships, upselling additional features or services, and ensuring customer satisfaction through ongoing support. * Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage follow-ups, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement. * Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to close high-value sales confidently and professionally. * Coordinate with marketing teams to implement local campaigns that attract new prospects and increase brand awareness. * Maintain comprehensive records of all customer interactions, sales activities, and territory developments to ensure seamless management. Skills * Proven experience in In-Home sales with a track record of closing high-ticket deals, * Strong management skills with the ability to oversee territory management and lead generation initiatives effectively. * Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-centric approach to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. * Familiarity with CRM software such as Builderprime or other CRM tools for tracking prospects and managing accounts. * Effective communication skills for product demos, presentations, and building rapport with diverse clients. * Ability to perform direct sales activities including cold calling and inside sales strategies. * Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data, conduct needs assessments, and develop strategic plans for territory growth. * Knowledge of marketing principles and business development techniques to enhance outreach efforts. * Strong customer service orientation paired with problem-solving skills to address client needs promptly. WHY OUTBACK DECK * Largest TimberTech dealer in the country * Industry-leading technology, pricing tools, and sales process * Proven presentation system with strong support staff * Premium product, premium clients, premium expectations * High average ticket and real earning power THE ROLE As a Solution Specialist, you will: * Run in-home consultations with homeowners (one-call close with follow-up as needed) * Present and design premium composite decking solutions * Build value, diagnose needs, and guide confident purchase decisions * Manage a mix of company-generated and self-generated appointments * Use CRM, pricing tools, and presentation technology consistently * Protect margins while delivering an exceptional customer experience APPOINTMENTS & SALES CYCLE * 10 appointments per week in season, approximately 6 out of season * Same-day close focused * Scheduled 9am, 1pm, and 5pm appointments * Territory radius of 55-70 miles COMPENSATION & EARNINGS * W-2 position * Base plus commission to start * Option to move to full commission when ready * Paid training during the first month * Paid on contract value * Average performer earns $150K+ * Top performers earn $250K+ * Average deal size is $50,000 PRODUCTS & FINANCING * Primary focus on composite decks * Financing options ranging from same-as-cash to 15-year terms * Premium materials, premium design, premium pricing SCHEDULE * 5-day work week * Saturdays required * Evenings as needed based on appointment schedule IDEAL CANDIDATE * 3+ years of in-home, high-ticket, one-call close sales experience * Home improvement sales background preferred; deck and design experience is a plus * Comfortable presenting and closing premium-priced projects * Professional, disciplined, and process-driven * Confident communicator with strong follow-up skills Pay: $150,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Health savings account * Paid training * Professional development assistance * Referral program * Vision insurance Work Location: Hybrid remote in Woodstock, GA 30188Outback Deck, Inc.
