The Scope of Work * Property Inspections * Coordinate move ins and move outs * Place marketing signs; check keys * Customer follow ups via phone, email, or text * Complying with company standards and applicable laws, e.g., Fair Housing, Landlord Tenant Act * Participate in projects assigned by Property Manager * Assist with errands as needed outside of the office * Support Property Management with admin tasks * Additional tasks as assigned The Ideal Candidate * Must have excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and a customer service spirit. * Ability to maintain confidentiality, sensitivity and professionalism. * Above average written and oral communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills. * Proficient problem solving and analytical skills. * Self-disciplined and motivated to achieve. * You make continuous learning a priority. * Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. * Must have a cell phone * Prior experience in property management preferred. As a Leasing Specialist , you'll be at the heart of all things home- related, ensuring every lease is signed, every move-in is seamless, and every resident feels right at home. You'll be the go-to expert for leasing homes, preparing documents, and making sure everything runs like clockwork.Renewals & Retention: You're a key player in resident satisfaction! Stay on top of lease renewals, keep up with monthly paperwork, and ensure all residents are loving their living experience.Follow-Up & Build Relationships: Your communication skills will be on full display as you follow up with leads, convert phone calls into tours, and maintain solid relationships with every resident.Move-In/Out Magic: Ensure a smooth transition for new residents by coordinating move- ins, inspecting apartments, and collaborating with the maintenance team to make sure every unit is move-in ready! Same for the move out process!Resident Happiness: You'll be the first line of support for residents, responding to requests quickly and helping to foster a vibrant community where everyone feels valued.Engage & Retain: Show your creative side by supporting fun resident events and activities that enhance the community experience, encouraging long-term stays.Continuous Learning: Stay sharp with ongoing training in fair housing, safety, non-discrimination, and more.
