Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Verani Realty is seeking proven leadership and management talent to help grow our Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine markets. We're building a bench of General Managers / Market Leaders for our all our markets to support our growth and existing footprint.. This is a primarily in-office, market-facing role that requires: A Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine Real Estate Broker's license, depending on territory. A minimum of 5+ years of real estate experience, including management, recruiting, or team leadership. You'll be backed by a locally owned, multi-office brokerage with the reach of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network and the culture of a family company. What You'll Do As a General Manager / Market Leader, you will: Recruit and grow Identify, attract, and onboard productive agents and teams. Build and execute a recruiting plan for your market. Lead, coach, and develop agents Run sales meetings, workshops, and 1:1 coaching. Support agents with listing, buyer, and negotiation strategy. Help agents build business plans and hold them accountable. Own office performance Drive growth in agent count, per-agent productivity, and market share. Oversee day-to-day office operations in partnership with leadership and support staff. Ensure compliance with brokerage policies and state regulations. Be the culture carrier. Foster a high-trust, collaborative, professional environment. Champion our community involvement and brand presence in the market. Limited personal production is allowed Continue practicing real estate on a limited basis, in line with company guidelines, while keeping leadership responsibilities as your primary focus. What You Bring Proven experience leading in real estate Prior role as a broker/owner, office manager, team leader, or equivalent. Active Broker's License Track record of recruiting and developing agents You know how to attract talent and help agents grow their businesses. Strong communication and negotiation skills Comfortable in front of a room and in one-on-one coaching. Operational discipline Able to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple moving parts. Client-first mindset and high standards of professionalism You model the behavior and service level you expect from your agents.
