The day to day * Welcome prospective tenants and provide engaging property tours. * Handle leasing activities from start to finish--processing applications, preparing lease agreements, and ensuring smooth move-ins. * Market available units using social media and online listings to attract top-quality tenants. * Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, keeping a waitlist for future tenants. * Collect deposits, first-month rent, and any related fees. * Act as a key liaison between management, tenants, and the maintenance team to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. * Oversee move-in and move-out processes, conduct inspections, and ensure seamless unit turnover. * Keep detailed records of leasing activity and generate reports for property management. The must-haves * 2-3 years of leasing or related experience - You know the ins and outs of property leasing. * Meticulous attention to detail - Success in this role depends on your ability to stay organized and proactive. * AppFolio or similar property management software experience - Familiarity with leasing tech is a plus! * Social media savvy - You know how to creatively market properties online. * Basic knowledge of property management rules & regulations - Training provided! * Reliable transportation - You'll be traveling between properties. * Goal-oriented mindset - You thrive on meeting objectives, deadlines, and bonus incentives. * Strong people skills - You connect well with tenants, vendors, and team members. * Valid driver's license & clean driving record - Required. * Ability to pass a background screening - Criminal and motor vehicle checks required.
