We partner with healthcare facilities to ensure seamless mobility for individuals requiring medical appointments, treatments, or specialized care. Job Summary Florida Medical Transport is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead the acquisition of new accounts, including hospitals, nursing homes, and hospice facilities. Additionally, this resource will be responsible for developing a pipeline for larger accounts including health plans in the Florida market. This role will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers to expand our client base and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have industry knowledge and proven experience in medical sales, with a preference for those with a background in outside hospice sales or similar roles. Key Responsibilities Account Acquisition: Identify, target, and secure new business accounts with hospitals, nursing homes, hospice facilities, and other healthcare providers to expand Florida Medical Transport's client portfolio. Relationship Building: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including administrators, directors of nursing, case managers, and other stakeholders in healthcare facilities. Sales Strategy: Create and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets, leveraging industry knowledge to position Florida Medical Transport as the preferred transportation provider. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify new opportunities and tailor pitches to address specific facility requirements. Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals, contracts, and service agreements to prospective clients, highlighting the value and reliability of our services. Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and marketing teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new accounts and alignment of services with client expectations. Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and account status using CRM tools, providing regular updates to management. Compliance: Ensure all sales activities adhere to industry regulations, including HIPAA and other healthcare compliance standards. QualificationsExperience: o Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in medical sales, with a focus on B2B sales to healthcare facilities (hospitals, nursing homes, or hospice providers). o Prior experience as an outside hospice sales agent or similar role is highly preferred. o Demonstrated success in procuring new accounts and meeting sales targets in the healthcare industry. Industry Knowledge: o Strong understanding of the non-emergency medical transportation industry, healthcare facility operations, and the needs of hospitals, nursing homes, and hospice providers. o Familiarity with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance. Skills: o Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. o Ability to develop and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals. o Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or similar) and Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Excel, Teams). o Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities. Education: o Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered. Other: o Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Florida as needed to meet with clients.
