Technical Inside Sales Representative Motion Sensors is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Inside Technical Sales professional. This position is responsible to support all customer interaction relating to order entry, shipment processing, delivery and communication of technical responses (working with company Engineers and Production personnel). The Inside Technical Sales Associate will be required to gain a thorough understanding of the company's products and customers and to develop strong relationships with our business partners/customers. The Inside Technical Sales Associate will also be required to develop and maintain trusted relationships with decision makers, engineers and other key buyers with all customer partners. Technical Inside Sales Representative Responsibilities: * Demonstrate the ability to address each customer's unique inquiry, while providing them with the proper information and appropriate solution based on the customer's specific needs and interests. * Engage and work with business partners where appropriate. * Collaborate with Engineering and Sales to establish a working knowledge of company products and procedures. * Follow-up on all leads supplied and ensure internal systems are updated. * Follow-up with clients to ensure consistent and ongoing coverage of accounts including new sales opportunities. * Understand and participate as required in all aspects of the sales cycle, including qualifying, presentations, demonstrations, and RFP responses. * Generate customer quotes and participate in development of pricing strategies for standard products. * Conduct sales order contract reviews and enter orders. * Monitor key customer forecasts and modify orders in response to changes. * Assist with website changes and other marketing efforts. * Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's customers, the prospects, the partners, and the influencers. * Maintain the highest level of customer and partner satisfaction with all accounts. * Maintain a positive, professional 'total customer service' attitude and demonstrate the company's Core Values. * Coordinate, plan, and schedule sales support functions with Engineering staff. Technical Inside Sales Representative Skills: * Customer Focus: Act in ways that demonstrate customer focus and satisfaction by building affective relationships with customers, identifying, meeting and exceeding customer expectations, and by treating customers with dignity and respect. * Effective Communication: Deliver oral and written communications that are impactful and persuasive with their intended audience. * Product Knowledge: Ability to learn In-depth knowledge of relevant products * Effective Selling: Utilize solutions-oriented, systematic approach to selling, leveraging sales best practices. * Business Acumen: Understand key aspects of business, e.g., business models and also understand how business operates, including role of structure and systems; can speak in business language when applying professional expertise. Technical Inside Sales Representative Education: Post high school education in Business or sales related field preferred. Technical Inside Sales Representative Travel: Business travel will be limited but may require up to 5% maximum yearly travel. Technical Inside Sales Representative Experience Requirements: * 3-5 years of Business to Business sales experience. * Proven ability working in a sales environment and an understanding of technology. * Proven negotiation skills and the ability to persuade and influence decision makers and executives is required. * Professionalism, personal integrity, a high internal commitment to achieve success. * Strong oral and written communication skills.
