Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm Overview: We are seeking detail-oriented and tech-savvy Sales Office Assistants to support a busy sales department. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a long-term career path in sales or customer service. You'll work closely with inside sales staff and leadership, assisting with daily operations, order tracking, vendor coordination, data entry, and more. Responsibilities: * Track open customer orders and follow up with suppliers * Obtain pricing and delivery quotes from vendors * Make phone calls on behalf of inside sales (pricing, delivery ETAs, part number cross-references) * Develop understanding of sales processes, culture, and product lines * Resolve administrative issues and inquiries while identifying and analyzing solutions * Build and maintain a strong product knowledge base * Research supplier pricing and delivery options * Provide general administrative support including data entry * Coordinate projects assigned by sales or management * Perform other duties as needed Qualifications: * Strong computer proficiency, especially in Excel, Word, and Outlook * Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new software systems * Excellent attention to detail and strong math skills * Critical thinker with strong organizational skills * Strong communication and interpersonal abilities * Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently * Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment * Professional and pleasant demeanor Preferred Experience: * Associate degree or equivalent experience * Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour Education: * High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: * Sales support: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
