Security Public Storage Company Overview Security Public Storage (SPS) is a family-owned and operated self-storage company with 50+ self-storage facilities located in California, Oregon, Nevada, Maryland & Virginia. Job Summary Seeking a highly ambitious, sales-savvy, career-oriented professional to work assisting in the operation and selling of units at our busy self-storage facility on Brand New Facility in El Cerrito!!! Working Sundays 10 am - 4 pm and Mondays 9 am - 6 pm. Benefits and Perks * $20.50/ hr plus commission! And a $500 signing bonus after 90 days!! * $10 - $20 for every storage unit rented, which we estimate to equate to an additional $1.00 -$2.00 per hour, bringing the combined potential equivalent compensation to between $21.50 and $22.50 per hour. * Opportunity for advancement Responsibilities and Duties * Oversight of all day-to-day operations * Provides outstanding customer service, including assessing and resolving customer queries and problems, and professionally * Effectively sells storage units to telephone, walk-in, and email inquiries by employing the methods within our Call Flow Guidelines * Completes leases and other documentation in a neat and orderly manner * Reduces delinquent accounts through telephone, text, and email contact * Maintains exemplary curb appeal in both our office and throughout the facility, including sweeping units, cleaning hallways, and disposing of debris Qualifications and Skills * Sales and customer service experience required * Commercial lease -ups and property management experience preferred * Marketing experience or mindset * Passion for interacting with the public * Meticulous attention to detail and organization skills * Proficient with technology, including CRMs, web browsers, and the Microsoft Office Suite We value diversity at Security Public Storage.
