Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities at law firms and corporate legal departments in California, building strong relationships with clients, and driving the growth of a division of our company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and strategic planning, with a keen understanding of market trends and customer needs. Legal/Law Firm/Legal Sales experience is highly desired and preferred. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet client requirements and enhance our market presence. Responsibilities * Identify and pursue new legal business opportunities within law firms and corporate legal departments through market research and networking. * Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the firm's customer base. * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. * Negotiate contracts and agreements with potential clients to secure profitable deals. * Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective promotional strategies that align with business goals. * Utilize Top Echelon software tool for customer relationship management and tracking sales activities. * Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery of services to clients. * Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis to senior management. * Adhere to week to week company metrics to meet set goals. Requirements * Proven experience in legal sales or business development, preferably within the legal industry. * Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to analyze market trends effectively. * Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully. * Proficiency in project management principles and practices. * Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software, particularly Salesforce. * Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with diverse stakeholders. * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. THIS IS A SALES DRIVEN ROLE.
