In this role, you will be working as an Applications Engineer for a client that works in the manufacturing industry. This position will be responsible for working with customers to prepare quotes and assist engineering on custom projects. This is a contract to possible permanent role that is a long term need for my client. This position must be worked on site. Pay; $75,000-$80,000/Yr. Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, electrical or other engineering discipline * 3+ years of experience in an applications engineering role * Strong communication skills * Able to work with customers to establish initial requirements, prepare quotes and work with internal engineering team on execution of projects * Maintain pricing and spcification sheets * Process customer purchase orders and prepare PO verifications * Experience in a manufacturing/heavy industrial environment is required - knowledge of equipment installation preferred * Assist in the planning and preparation at trade shows * Knowldge of Pro/E or Creo software VIS
