We have a customer in Phoenix, AZ who has an immediate opening for an experienced Mechanical Sales/Application Engineer. In this role you will interface with customers and gather information and requirements of their needs and relevant design specifications, perform engineering analysis, generate proposals and quotes, contracts and orders, and then interface with key designers and company manufacturing personnel to see orders through completion in company mfg. and fabrication facilities. Sales/Application Engineer will also be empowered to make decisions and navigate trade-offs in design, performance and cost implications. In addition you will develop new customer accounts, maintain relationships and own designs from concept through delivery. This is a long-term, DIRECT HIRE position. Candidate MUST work on site in office. Company is currently located in Phoenix, AZ and is in the process of moving in to a NEW facility in Mesa, AZ. Salary Range: 90-130K Job

Requirements

:

• BSME or similar, 3-7 years+ experience in Mechanical/Sales Engineering
• Experience with HVAC, refrigeration, heat exchangers, coils, evaporators, condensers, air handlers, boilers or similar equipment
• Experience with thermal analysis, fluids, heat transfer, HTIR, ASME Codes, Welding Standards, etc. or similar
• Industry experience in power generation, heat recovery, gas compression, defense, aerospace, data center cooling, chemical processing, HVAC, semiconductor/clean rooms, etc.
• Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills, Project Management skills preferred
• Passion for engineering, sales, customers, fast paced environment
• Experience and success working in a small or mid-sized company
