Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leasing activities, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to prospective tenants. This position requires strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of property management practices. Duties * Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants. * Assist in the preparation and execution of lease agreements and contracts. * Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and related documentation. * Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process. * Respond promptly to inquiries via phone and email, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. * Collaborate with property management to address tenant concerns and facilitate property maintenance requests. * Support administrative tasks related to real estate operations, including filing and documentation management. * Stay informed about local market trends and property availability to effectively assist potential renters. Requirements * Previous experience in property management or real estate administration is preferred. * Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) is a plus. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. * Proficient in office software applications for documentation and record keeping. * Familiarity with facilities management practices is advantageous. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
