We are looking for hard-working, motivated individuals to join our team for a brand-new community in the Richmond, VA area. Job Description Our Leasing Professionals will be the front-line person(s) to interact directly with prospective and current residents to achieve the property's maximum occupancy. This includes generating and handling traffic, qualifying prospects, leasing apartments, and completing daily follow-ups with prospects. You will also have the opportunity to utilize marketing skills by monitoring social media and web presence and working with the Community Manager to execute a strategy to build brand awareness and generate market presence, create and foster relationships with area businesses, and be active on social media. Job Responsibilities * Lease qualified prospects by showing available apartments. * Greet and qualify prospects, follow up on prospective residents, and market the community to prospects via telephone, internet, and social media/networking programs. * Provide top-notch customer service and timely response to resident requests and complaints. This includes helping residents and prospects before, during, and after leasing an apartment. * Maintain relationships with all apartment locator services and local businesses to provide informational material. Update periodically. * Maintain ongoing resident retention program under the direction of Community Manager. * Shop competition regularly. * Maintain professional appearance of the office, amenity areas, model apartments, and community. * Ensure a professional appearance and manner for oneself. Skills & Qualifications * High School diploma or equivalent * 2+ years in a leasing role strongly preferred * Entrata experience a plus! * Weekend availability is required. * We have two brand-new properties in the Richmond area. One near Scott's Addition and one near Innsbrook/Glen Allen. This position may be placed at either location, depending on the candidate.
