We are specifically looking for individuals who can work weekends, early mornings, evenings, and holidays as needed. Airport retail is fast-paced and operates every day -- we need teammates who are ready and willing to support the operation without restrictions. Job Purpose: Act as a representative of Casa Unlimited always. Support our airport stores by offering exceptional customer service. Support Supervisors and Airport Managers to achieve high quality retail standards associated with store standards and driving sales. Expectation: Maintain a high level of professional communication with management and associates to drive business. Be a role model for all associates, supervisors, and managers in CASA Core Values. Job Duties: * Accurately ring and process sales transactions (cash, credit cards check, vouchers, or automatic debits) in accordance with approved CASA Unlimited cash handling procedures. * Accurately issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers in accordance with approved CASA Unlimited procedures. * Responsible for counting the money in your cash drawer/bank at the beginning of your shift. Ensure register funds are correct and that there is adequate change for your shift. * Responsible for counting the money in cash drawer at the end of the shift to ensure there are not any over/shorts. Fill out the required closing paperwork. * Help to develop smooth-working and effective teamwork with co-workers and managers. * Help keep stores full (replenished) and recovered (neat) throughout your shift. * Follow all airport rules and regulations. * Follow PPE guidelines set by the Federal Government or the City of Phoenix. Customer Service * All sales associates are responsible for providing high quality customer service to every customer. Welcome/greet all customers as they enter the store. * Always thank the customer for their purchase. * Assist customers with questions, provide information on procedures or policies when appropriate. * Perform various non-selling functions such as cleaning, stocking shelves, checking merchandise for correct prices, and visual merchandising to maintain effective retail operations. * Product knowledge: Be able to describe, explain, how it operates, and care of merchandise to customers. * Keep cash wrap area free of clutter or debris. Follow cleaning guidelines as established by management. * Adhere to policies, regulations and procedures as required by management. Minimum Qualifications * Must be 16 years or older. No previous sales experience is necessary. All sales associates will be trained. * Ability to communicate effectively with others. * Must be able to count, make change and be proficient in basic math. * Flexibility in schedule. Must be available weekends and evenings. * Must be able to pass a background and fingerprint check. Physical Requirements * Must be able to stand, bend at waist, kneel for long periods of time. * Able to lift 25 lbs.
