Business Development Manager Location: Cartersville, GA (50-mile territory) We are a family owned roofing company with 30 years industry experience. We are seeking a driven, high-energy Business Development Manager to help expand our presence in the Cartersville market and surrounding areas. This is a true hunter role designed for someone who thrives on building relationships from the ground up and aggressively pursuing new business opportunities. This position is ideal for a commission-motivated professional who has successfully built and managed a book of business , enjoys being in the field, and brings a competitive, outgoing personality to everything they do. Key Responsibilities * Prospect, develop, and grow new client relationships within a 50-mile radius of Cartersville, GA * Build a sustainable book of business through cold outreach, networking, and in-person meetings * Develop relationships with property owners, general contractors, developers, and other referral partners * Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through close * Identify new roofing opportunities across commercial and residential markets * Maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat and referral business * Represent the company professionally within the local roofing and construction community What We 're Looking For * Proven experience building (not inheriting) a book of business * Background in roofing, construction, or a related industry preferred * Strong hunter mentality with a results-driven mindset * Outgoing, confident, and comfortable with face-to-face business development * Self-motivated and able to manage a territory independently * Valid driver's license and clean MVR (required) * Comfortable in a commission-heavy compensation structure Compensation & Perks * Competitive base salary plus commission-heavy earning potential * $500/month car allowance during the first 90-day probationary period * Company truck provided after probationary period * Long-term growth opportunity with an expanding roofing operation Why This Role This is an opportunity to help build and shape a roofing market from the ground up.
