We are looking for a retail sales associate to promote and support the Red Wing Shoe Store by selling our image of high quality, large selection and conscientious customer service to each retail customer, striving to the utmost to make a loyal customer as well as a sale. This will be a split role working at both Red Wing Carmel 9873 N Michigan RD Suite 120 Carmel, IN 46032 and Red Wing Castleton 6653 E 82nd Street Indianapolis, IN 46250. Schedules will be flexible and will average ~20 hours at the Carmel store and ~18 hours at the Castleton location.

Duties and Responsibilities

:

• Promote and support the high quality Red Wing brand image through professional selling
• Enter customer information and sales into Xstore, process payments, balance cash drawer and daily reporting
• Measure and fit every customer properly
• Explain product features and benefits, as well as technical specifications
• Practice Industrial sales lead development on the fitting stool
• Suggest appropriate accessories with every footwear purchase
• Take pride and responsibility for overall store and personal appearance
• Maintain the integrity of the sales floor presentation, signing, and housekeeping standards Other

Qualifications

:

• High School Education and 2+ years retail experience preferred
• Results oriented
• Experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Effective communication with manager
• Lean thinking, able to drive change that enables efficiencies and drives growth
• Problem solving
• Retail footwear and/or wholesale experience Physical Demands:
• Possibility of lifting up to 30 pounds
• Bending lacing shoes and climbing a ladder
• Housekeeping duties including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping floors, washing mirrors, setting up and maintaining displays Title- Retail Sales Associate- Full Time Dual Role (Carmel and Castleton locations) Approximate Hours per Week- 30-40 Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
