Overview Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Property Manager specializing in multifamily residential communities! This energetic role offers the opportunity to support property operations, enhance resident satisfaction, and ensure compliance with housing regulations. You will be instrumental in managing leasing activities, maintaining property standards, and fostering positive relationships with residents and vendors alike. Duties * Assist in overseeing daily property operations, ensuring smooth and efficient management of multifamily communities * Support leasing efforts by conducting property tours, upselling available units, and processing applications * Maintain compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and other federal, state, and local laws * Handle legal administrative tasks including lease agreements, contracts, and legal notices with accuracy and confidentiality * Coordinate property maintenance requests and facilities management to uphold high standards of living for residents * Manage data entry, filing, and recordkeeping for tenant files, service requests, inspections, and compliance documentation * Foster excellent customer service through effective phone etiquette, conflict management, and proactive communication with residents and vendors Skills * Strong knowledge of property management systems * Experience with LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing vouchers, and related regulatory requirements * Legal administrative experience including lease preparation, contract review, and understanding landlord-tenant law * Proficiency in facilities management software (CMMS) and data entry tools for accurate recordkeeping * Exceptional customer service skills combined with conflict resolution abilities to handle resident concerns professionally * Negotiation skills for lease renewals, upselling units or services, and vendor interactions * Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations to ensure equitable treatment of all residents * Office experience including filing, document management, phone etiquette, and administrative support tasks Embark on a rewarding journey where your organizational skills meet your passion for community building!
