An established, family-operated Real Estate Company is seeking a Leasing and Marketing Associate to join our expanding portfolio in Connecticut. This role centers on leasing -- including unit turns, marketing, and resident relations -- with support for property management and operations. The ideal candidate will bring experience in sales, customer service, or leasing, along with strong administrative and organizational skills. We are looking for a proactive, positive, and self-directed individual who can balance resident- facing responsibilities with the coordination of renovation projects and unit turnovers. We are actively engaged in value-add initiatives, including apartment renovations and amenity upgrades. As a Leasing and Marketing Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring units are efficiently prepared for lease, coordinating with contractors, and helping attract and secure qualified residents. You will work closely with the leasing department, senior manager, and building staff to maintain strong occupancy and deliver a high-quality resident experience. Responsibilities: * Interact directly with ownership on a daily basis regarding leasing and property updates * Oversee and coordinate all leasing, marketing, and related reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) * Track and report traffic, tours, and applications * Review and process rental applications * Collect rents and make daily deposits * Attract, educate, and retain tenants through strong customer service * Coordinate and supervise contractors for apartment renovations and unit turns * Ensure all work orders and repair requests are processed promptly * Support marketing efforts by managing listings, photos, and online presence * Investigate and help resolve tenant concerns with professionalism * Contribute ideas to improve operations and resident experience Qualifications: * Previous leasing and/or property management experience * Familiarity with Yardi Voyager and RentCafe a plus * Knowledge of rental contracts and leases * Strong communication and rapport-building skills * Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize * Positive, solutions-oriented, and detail-driven Compensation: * Salary * Plus Bonus * Plus, Commission * Health Insurance * 401(k) Salary commensurate with experience starting at $50,000-$60,000 Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Health insurance Work Location: In person
