Job description: Aggregate/Bulk Freight Sales Representative Columbia Quarry Co., is currently seeking a qualified Aggregate/Bulk Freight Salesperson to sell dry bulk transportation, aggregate, and trans-loading for our Truck Company, Quarries, and River Terminals throughout the Midwest. Responsibilities: * Customer-focused in order to meet customer needs through effective communication, problem-solving, and service quality improvements * Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, client outreach, and relationship building * Monitor sales performance to create reports and provide information and recommendations to senior leadership * Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to adjust sales strategies as needed * Work closely with operations and service teams to ensure seamless execution of bulk transportation and aggregate sales Requirements: * Business and/or related sales experience * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Effective analytical and decision-making skills * Strong work ethic and professional demeanor and appearance * Great can-do attitude * Experience in the truck industry and/or bulk freight and transportation * Experience in limestone and hard rock aggregate sales preferred; however, sales experience in construction or industrial related industries will be considered * Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships We Offer: * Generous compensation package based on level of experience ($65,000-$125,000) * 401 (k) plan with robust matching contribution and profit share * Dental, Health, Life, Vision and Disability Insurance * Vacation, PTO, and paid holidays Columbia Quarry Co. operates limestone quarries located in Southwestern Illinois, adjacent to the metro St. Louis area.
