Pecan Lake Entertainment, a Unique indoor/outdoor family amusement center, located in Queen Creek AZ is searching for a high-achieving individual in the position of Senior Event Sales Director. This individual will mentor, motivate and manage our Sales office team and continue our exponential event sales revenue growth. Our Senior Event Sales Director will lead by example, collaborating with our on-site operations team. We are looking for an experienced, results driven professional who is well- connected in the area to introduce our property to new business while enhancing our current book of business. Essential Duties: * Respond to event inquiries / close the sale on all inquiries for events. * Learn, sell & relay them effectively and correctly so that operations can execute with success. * Actively manage the client relationship both during and after the event to ensure retention. * Oversee and manage both inbound and outbound efforts with a concentrated focus on large, designated events. * Possess translatable leadership into overall revenue from your market segments. * Minimally meet, also exceed individual and overall departmental sales goals & KPI's. * Ownership and responsibility for total sales within your department - guiding your team to hit their established sales benchmarks. Do this with daily conversations with your team to ensure we are exceeding KPIs. * Be the expert on all things sales and events for your sales team and the operations team to ensure every event is a success. * Be available to work on a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays, and during our busiest event-based periods. * Our clients can pop up anytime. Preparedness to showcase enthusiasm and professionalism always is a must. You are ..Not just a manager, you are well connected in the Sales game. You lead the team with a confident but humble approach with knowledge of team metrics, processes and skills. To be a team player is a must. You are good at also developing people and must have a passion for both sales, building a team and our reputation in the area. You are organized and have a high level of time management. Details are important to you with everything planned perfectly while being executed in a timely manner. You feel staying ahead of deadlines is critical. You have a great understanding of how important it is to be accountable for your team and possess a high level of profit and loss capability when building events. You are an experienced sales professional with sales and local center marketing, all the processes to drive revenue. You have a passion for the industry and have a proven track record of excelling while building a great team. Required Skills: * 2+ years of experience leading and developing a team. * 5+ years of experience in Event Sales * Proven track record of exceeding revenue goals * Proficient in basic office technology * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills * Time Management and Organizational skills * Skilled communication at both delivering and receiving feedback * Adaptable * Excellent problem-solving skills * The ability to convert the sale to a close. * Professional appearance * Required to work weekends as deemed necessary according to the demands of the business and event schedule.
