Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager and Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for conversing with our diverse array of customers looking for the engineering services we provide, be able to work in our sales lead system to help distribute incoming leads to our sales engineers, answer the phone for new and existing customers, and keep the office running smoothly. Additionally the role involves some limited event planning for both internal and external facing events in our event space, so some experience in vendor management, event planning and/or hospitality is a plus. This role requires exceptional communication, as well as the ability to quickly learn about what we do here at Kickr Design and understand some limited technical aspects of our business. In this role you you will be talking to inventors and entrepreneurs as well as fortune 500 companies as you help them both understand from a high level what we can offer, while helping coordinate and setup meetings with our sales engineers. On the meeting and event planner side, there will be event setup, vendor coordination and on-site point of contact for 1-3 evening events per month. Duties * Answer incoming phone calls, route calls and answer basic questions about Kickr Design's capabilities * Gather critical information from phone leads, input into our sales system, and schedule meetings with the lead and a sales engineer. * Maintain and keep organized and tidy the entry way, front desk area, break room, front patio area. Stock and order the snacks and drinks, maintain an orderly a tidy break room. * Work with internal and external contacts to plan and execute meetings, conferences, and events from conception to completion, ensuring all details are managed effectively from food to bar supplies. * Manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and reported accurately. * Coordinate catering services, including menu selection and dietary accommodations. * Oversee guest services during events, ensuring a positive experience for all attendees. * Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications * Proven experience in a customer facing role with a diverse customer base. * Excellent verbal and written communications skills, particularly on the phone with a warm and kind phone presence. Ability to maintain patience with challenging customers. * Event planning or hospitality background is a plus. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. * Strong time management skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities with duties across sales, events and office management.
