Job Overview: The Energy Efficiency Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth by promoting energy efficiency products and services. This role requires a strong understanding of energy efficiency practices, excellent sales skills, and the ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships. Key Responsibilities: * Develops new business by analyzing account potential; initiating, developing, and closing sales; recommending new applications and sales strategies. * Identifies potential in accounts by studying current business; interviewing key customer personnel and company personnel who have worked with customer; identifying and evaluating additional needs; analyzing opportunities. * Initiates sales process by building relationships; qualifying potential; scheduling appointments. * Develops sales by making initial presentation; explaining product and service enhancements and additions; introducing new products and services. * Assists in new applications by conferring with solutions engineering. * Closes sales by overcoming objections; preparing contracts. * Contributes information to sales strategies by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled; monitoring competitive products; analyzing and relaying customer reactions. * Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. * Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Project Management : * Lead and manage lighting projects from concept to completion. * Coordinate with clients, Internal team to ensure project requirements are met. * Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans. * Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives. * Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. Reporting and Analysis : * Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts. * Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement. * Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Market and Product Knowledge : * Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in energy efficiency. * Maintain in-depth knowledge of our energy efficiency products and services. * Educate clients on the benefits and cost savings of energy-efficient solutions.
