Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Associate to join our team. Duties * Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their inquiries. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions. * Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales. * Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers. * Maintain merchandising standards by organizing product displays and ensuring shelves are stocked. * Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures. * Assist in stocking shelves and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability. * Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support. * Utilize retail math skills for inventory management and sales tracking. * Exhibit strong phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries via phone. Requirements * Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, particularly in a grocery store setting. * Strong customer service skills with a focus on building rapport with customers. * Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory effectively. * Proficiency in using POS systems for processing sales transactions. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse customers. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also taking initiative when needed. * Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a retail context.
