ummary Our client is seeking a Sales Representative to profitably maintain and grow industrial electronic, motor, and hydraulic sales while meeting organizational objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following (other duties may be assigned):

• Generate leads by monitoring business and industry trends that align with our client's core services.
• Follow up on leads generated by internal staff, web services, and/or external sources.
• Conduct cold calls and network to identify key decision-makers with potential new customers.
• Develop a targeted sales plan that supports our client's strategic objectives and leadership direction.
• Establish daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales goals, including number of calls, units, sales volume, and margins.
• Monitor progress and take corrective action to achieve closed sales.
• Demonstrate company values consistently in interactions with customers and internal teams.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing detailed information regarding delivery or quality concerns.
• Negotiate terms and close sales in collaboration with operations to ensure margins, delivery, and quality specifications are met.
• Partner with internal departments (Customer Service, Account Management) to ensure a seamless transition from new customer to established business partner.
• Vet potential customers to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership.
• Attend staff meetings and other required sessions to discuss sales trends, competitive activities, and opportunities.
• Achieve measurable results in new revenue growth through effective marketing and sales techniques.
• Represent our client at industry trade shows to enhance brand recognition.
• Perform other duties as directed by leadership.

Education and Experience

:

• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in electronic, motor, hydraulic, or technical repair industry, with at least one year in sales, account management, or a customer-facing role. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Technical knowledge of services offered (electronic, electromechanical, and industrial repair).
• Familiarity with electronic and industrial repair markets.
• Ability to interpret customer needs and propose solutions aligned with our client's services.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-driven with minimal supervision; strong initiative and drive to excel.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and internet research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong listening and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work professionally and confidentially across all levels of the organization.

Work Environment

:

• Frequent sitting, walking, and standing; occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, and balancing.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for office equipment and computer work.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and via phone.
• Occasional bending and climbing to inspect materials and products.
• Ability to travel frequently to customer sites (driving and flying).
• Primarily climate-controlled office environment.
