This is not your typical sales job. No two days are the same, and you will be exposed to an extremely wide range of customers, problems to solve, and products to learn. What You 'll Do: * Be the Liaison: You will be the bridge between our customers and Volland's three main departments: Industrial Controls, Crane & Hoist, and the Motorshop. * Maintain & Grow: Take ownership of a well-established customer base in an assigned territory, ensuring their equipment is running at peak performance. * Field & Office: Split your time between our Buffalo headquarters (quoting projects) and traveling the WNY area to visit customer sites. * Diverse Impact: Work with everyone from major manufacturing plants to local hospitals and schools. We Invest in You: On-the-job training and continual learning are the keys to success here. We don't expect you to be an expert on Day 1, but we want you to strive to be one. You will have: * Direct mentorship from our department heads, engineers, and senior technicians. * In-office lessons and hands-on exposure to our repair processes. * Vast resources and vendor-led technical training. Qualifications: * Mechanical Curiosity: A genuine interest in how things are made and a desire to solve problems. * Background: Experience in industrial equipment and/or engineering is preferred. * Mindset: Hardworking, motivated, and able to thrive in a team-centric "family" environment. * Salary: Based on experience with potential commission opportunities.
