We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Sales Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for retail, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment. As a Retail Sales Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and implement strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and maximize profitability. You must have an overwhelming knowledge of guitar brands, models, history, and artist who played them. Duties * Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve store targets and enhance performance. * Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. * Conduct employee orientation, training, and development programs to ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills. * Implement effective recruiting strategies to build a strong team; conduct interviews and assist in hiring decisions. * Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to optimize product availability. * Work with marketing team to execute marketing strategies to promote sales initiatives. * Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cash handling, pricing, and store management procedures. * Utilize retail math skills for budgeting, pricing strategies, and financial reporting. * Foster a positive shopping environment through effective communication with customers and staff. Qualifications * Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with a strong understanding of retail sales principles. * Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence others effectively. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. * Proficient in POS systems and cash handling procedures. * Experience in inventory control, merchandising, stocking, and administrative duties. * Strong leadership qualities with demonstrated supervisory experience in team management. * Exceptional communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence. * Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
