Full-Time Leasing Specialist Job Description Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing and Leasing Manager, preferably with a background in student housing, to join our Student Housing Community in Austin. This person will play a crucial role in driving traffic to the community by developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies. They will collaborate with campus groups and organizations, leverage social media platforms, and plan resident events to attract prospective tenants and increase lease conversions. This position requires a strong emphasis on marketing skills and the ability to engage with the student community effectively. This person will work alongside the General Manager and will be responsible for all things related to marketing and leasing and leading the leasing staff, while the GM focuses mainly on operations. Reports To: General Manager Job Type: Full-Time Duties and Responsibilities: * Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing calendar aimed at generating targeted traffic and increasing lease conversions. * Conduct outreach marketing campaigns on campus to engage with potential tenants and promote the Student Housing Community. * Collaborate with campus groups and organizations to explore marketing opportunities targeted towards their members and establish partnerships. * Create and implement a strategic social media plan, oversee all social media platforms, and leverage them to promote the property effectively. * Plan and coordinate resident events to foster community engagement and attract prospective tenants. * Design eye-catching graphics for social media posts and promotional flyers to enhance visual appeal and drive engagement. * Develop and deploy effective campaigns through text messaging and email blasts to reach and connect with prospective tenants. * Ensure all leads are captured and entered into the system, and maintain clear and organized communication logs. * Provide exceptional customer service to prospects and residents, addressing inquiries promptly and professionally. * Stay updated on current marketing trends and incorporate innovative ideas into marketing strategies. * Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws concerning Fair Housing. Qualifications: * Effectively * High School Diploma or equivalent * Ability to read and write in English fluently. * Computer literacy is required. * Previous Leasing and/or Sales experience is strongly preferred. Experience in Student Housing is preferred. * Previous experience with Yardi is preferred.
