Position Overview The Applications Engineer plays a key role in connecting customer needs with our product capabilities. This role partners closely with internal teams and external customers to understand application requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure successful implementation of our products. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a problem solver, and someone who enjoys translating technical challenges into practical solutions. Key Responsibilities Customer Support: * Provide technical support to external customers and internal teams, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting product-related issues. * Collaborate with customers to understand application requirements and recommend tailored solutions. * Maintain strong relationships through timely, proactive communication and cross-team coordination. Product Knowledge: * Develop deep expertise in our product portfolio, including features, capabilities, and applications. * Stay informed on product updates, enhancements, and new releases. Application Testing & Validation: * Conduct real-world application testing to evaluate product performance and reliability. * Analyze results and provide actionable feedback to product development teams. Technical Documentation: * Create and maintain application notes, user guides, white papers, and troubleshooting resources. * Document customer insights and technical findings for internal use. Cross-Functional Collaboration: * Work closely with sales, marketing, and product development to align customer needs with product strategy. * Serve as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams. Training & Education: * Deliver training sessions, webinars, and workshops for customers. * Provide internal training to enhance team understanding of product applications and customer challenges. Feedback & Continuous Improvement: * Gather customer feedback on product performance and usability. * Contribute to product improvement initiatives and development roadmaps. Problem Solving: * Diagnose complex technical issues and develop innovative solutions. * Support timely resolution of customer challenges. Compliance & Quality Assurance: * Ensure products meet industry standards, regulations, and quality requirements. * Support quality assurance processes and product certification efforts. Continuous Learning: * Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Additional Skills & Qualifications Nice to Have: 1.) Familiarity with industrial automation or safety systems is a plus Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.04 - $28.85/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
