Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience, assisting customers with their needs, and driving sales through upselling techniques. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience. * Operate cash registers and POS systems efficiently, ensuring accurate transactions. * Assist customers with product inquiries and provide recommendations to enhance sales through upselling. * Maintain knowledge of store products, promotions, and policies to effectively communicate with customers. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment. * Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary. Requirements * Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required. * Proficiency in cash register operations and basic math skills is essential. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. * Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. * Experience with supervising or training new staff is a plus. * Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting stock when necessary. * Join our dynamic team as a Sales Associate where your contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction and store success!
