Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our UPS Store team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with their shipping needs, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will play a key role in driving sales through effective communication and upselling techniques while maintaining the store's appearance and stock levels. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in shipping, returning Amazon products, making copies, shredding documents, etc within the store. * Operate the cash register efficiently, processing transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly. * Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored recommendations to enhance their shopping experience. * Utilize upselling techniques to increase sales and promote additional products or services. * Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring products are properly labeled. * Perform basic math calculations for transactions, inventory counts, and stock management. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service. * Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies as needed. Requirements * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. * Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. * Familiarity with retail store operations is a plus but not mandatory. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills related to retail sales.
