We are seeking a Service Sales & Estimating Consultant to expand our commercial contract portfolio through professional sales, accurate estimating, and strong relationship development. Base Salary: $43,000-$45,000 + performance-based commission tied to profitable, recurring contracts Typical total compensation for a successful consultant is expected to range between $75,000 -$90,000+. Position Summary We are not seeking an entry-level salesperson. We are seeking a professional who has walked buildings, built scopes, priced labor, and closed service agreements. The Consultant is responsible for securing multi-year, recurring commercial service contracts. The role includes conducting walkthroughs, preparing accurate estimates using LifeROOTS' standardized tools, collaborating with Project Managers to confirm feasibility, and ensuring all proposed work meets margin expectations. Once contracts are secured and set up, the Consultant transitions the agreement to the Contract Specialist. This is not a desk sales role. You will be in the field walking buildings, measuring space, designing scopes, pricing labor, and protecting margin. If you have not priced janitorial or facilities work before, this role will not be a good fit. Key Responsibilities * Identify, pursue, and close multi-year recurring commercial service contracts * Conduct professional site walkthroughs and assess scope, square footage, and service needs * Prepare accurate estimates and proposals using approved estimating tools * Prioritize long-term, high-value contracts over short-term or low-margin work * Build and maintain relationships with property managers, contractors, and business owners * Collaborate with Project Managers to confirm scope feasibility and staffing capacity * Present proposals and negotiate within approved pricing parameters * Maintain accurate CRM documentation in HubSpot and provide weekly pipeline updates * Attend networking events and industry functions as needed * Ensure clean, complete contract handoffs to the Contract Specialist after signing Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience * 3+ years in commercial cleaning, floor care, construction cleanup, or facilities services * 2+ years of hands-on estimating experience (labor calculations, frequency pricing, scopes of work) * 2+ years of B2B sales experience in a service environment with demonstrated closing ability * Experience conducting walkthroughs and measuring square footage * Understanding of how labor, frequency, and scope affect margin * CRM experience (HubSpot a plus) * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Experience * 5+ years of commercial cleaning or floor care estimating experience * Experience bidding construction cleanup or specialty floor services * Experience responding to RFPs or attending pre-bid meetings * Existing relationships with property managers, contractors, or facility directors Compensation & Benefits * Base Salary + Commission (commission tied to profitable, recurring contracts) * Benefits begin the first full month following hire * Retirement plan * Generous sick leave and vacation accrual beginning at hire * Fuel reimbursement * Supportive, mission-driven work environment with leadership access Who Thrives in This Role This role is ideal for a facilities-savvy professional who enjoys owning the full cycle--from walkthrough to pricing to close. * You have priced janitorial or facilities work before and understand how labor, frequency, and scope affect margin * Relationship-driven, professional, and confident * Honest and high integrity * Detail-oriented with strong follow-through * Comfortable being accountable to results and profitability * Motivated by long-term growth rather than quick wins * Aligned with LifeROOTS' mission and values * Dependable and collaborative If you're ready to build smart contracts, protect margin, and help grow a mission-driven organization, we'd love to meet you.
