Duties * Assist customers in selecting tools and hardware products that meet their needs, providing expert advice and product demonstrations. * Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. * Maintain attractive merchandise displays by merchandising, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are well-organized and accessible. * Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities while delivering exceptional customer service. * Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock, conducting stock replenishment, and supporting inventory audits. * Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries, scheduling demos, or assisting remote customers. * Supervise or assist with team members when needed, fostering a collaborative environment focused on customer satisfaction. Requirements * Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery store or hardware environment. * Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain product features and benefits. * Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively. * Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for transactions. * Experience in merchandising, stocking, and product demos to engage customers actively. * Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities to support team efforts. * Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive shopping experiences.
