Sales Associate Position in Sneaker Retail with Growth Opportunities Our Sales Associates are driven, sociable, and knowledgeable individuals who consistently provide the VIP experience that keeps our customers coming back for more. You will take a hands-on approach to learning the ins and outs of our industry as you develop life skills that allow you to interact with people who share your love of the latest trends in sneakers and fashion. Reporting directly to a Store Manager, they will coach, lead, and demand excellence from your team as you complete day-to-day operations within the store. Sales Associates are Responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service to every visitor * Merchandising product throughout the sales floor * Following TAF policies and procedures while working * Handling cash/credit payments at the register * Learning from their shift leads and managers * Performing all other duties as may be assigned Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge includes: * GED or HS Diploma (2-4 year college degree a plus) * At least 1 full year of retail experience in customer-facing sales settings * Flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays * An interpersonal skill set to bond with co-workers & engage with customers * A strong work ethic that actively seeks & initiates meaningful changes * Emergent leadership that motivates & inspires through leading by example * Superior product and lifestyle knowledge to help identify customer needs Potential Perks and Benefits Include: * Health Insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield NC (50% paid coverage) * Simple IRA of up to 3% of income (matching contributions) * Employee Discount (30%) off of regular price for most shoes and apparel Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week Benefits: * 401(k) matching * Employee discount * Flexible schedule * Health insurance Education: * High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: * Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: * Raleigh, NC 27603: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
