Full description of the position

Role Summary Provide expert design consultation and sell flooring solutions to retail customers, builders, and walk-in clients by delivering exceptional showroom experience and customer satisfaction. In addition, manage flooring projects from initial measure through final completion--coordinating with installers, warehouse, service teams, and customers to ensure jobs are delivered on time, on budget, and at expected quality. Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Experience

• Engage walk-in and inbound leads with a professional, consultative sales approach
• Provide product recommendations aligned to customer needs, budget, and project scope
• Perform in-home measures to confirm project details and ensure accurate quoting
• Create accurate quotes and manage orders using ERP (RFMS or equivalent)
• Maintain showroom standards: product displays, cleanliness, and signage
• Follow up on leads and open quotes to close business
• Build long-term customer relationships through excellent service and follow-up
• Meet or exceed monthly sales and margin goals set by Branch leadership Project Management
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
• Schedule and coordinate in-home measurements, installations, and service calls
• Create and manage project timelines, ensuring deadlines are communicated and met
• Collaborate with installers, warehouse, and service teams to ensure materials, labor, and site conditions are ready before installation
• Monitor project budgets, margins, and scope, escalating issues when needed
• Resolve customer concerns promptly, keeping projects on track and ensuring satisfaction
• Document project progress and maintain accurate notes in RFMS/CRM
• Update CRM tool daily with opportunities, activities, and communication history
• Accurately update and close out all orders in RFMS by month-end deadlines Professional Knowledge & Teamwork
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of flooring products, promotions, and availability
• Develop working knowledge of installation methods and project sequencing
• Collaborate with branch leadership and peers to share best practices and support team success Performance Expectations
• CRM Compliance: All opportunities, activities, and communications documented daily; no open/untracked leads.
• Order Accuracy: 100% of orders costed, updated, and closed out in RFMS by the monthly deadline.
• Customer Satisfaction: Maintain high Net Promoter Score (NPS) or customer feedback rating through consistent service and project management.
• Project Delivery: Ensure jobs are completed on time, within budget, and according to scope, with minimal escalations.
• Sales & Margin Goals: Meet or exceed monthly revenue and margin targets as set by Branch leadership. Team Contribution: Demonstrate collaboration, reliability, and accountability in supporting branch operations and company culture. Salary: We offer 6 months of guaranteed income to support you through training. Once you're fully ramped up, you'll move into a salary + uncapped commission structure , allowing you to control your earnings with no limits. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
