We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our busy specialty pet supply shop and grooming salon. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a team-oriented environment, values clear communication, and takes pride in supporting coworkers while delivering outstanding customer service. Must love pets! This position starts as part-time at $15/hour (10-15 hours per week) with the potential for increased hours . Responsibilities: * Deliver exceptional customer service to pet parents in a fast-paced environment * Assist customers with product selection and recommendations * Maintain attractive, organized product displays and merchandising standards * Operate point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently * Keep sales floor clean, stocked, and well-presented * Support daily store and grooming operations by working as a TEAM * Welcome and identify customer needs * Explain products and services to customers * Stocking and monitoring inventory * Cleaning * Basic computer skills * Ensure the safety and well-being of dogs and cats in our care Qualifications: * Strong customer care and communication skills * Dependable, positive attitude, and willingness to learn * Strong team-player mindset with a willingness to help where needed * Knowledge of retail merchandising and product presentation * Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy setting * Pet supply and/or retail experience is a plus (but not required) * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multi-task * Ability to build rapport with customers * Excellent verbal communication skills * Must be able to lift at least 40lbs of product and more for dogs * Ability to work as a team * Must be able to work without supervision and begin projects independently * Flexibility in schedule * Ability to calm, soothe, and read the mood of an animal in our care * Must have a reliable vehicle * Pet handling experience a plus but not a must Hiring Company: PT Pet Supply Inc.
