Program Overview: Are you energetic, outgoing, and motivated to grow your career in real estate? Michelson Realty Company is hiring for our Property Management Training Program , designed to develop future leaders in multi-family apartment management. This hands-on, paid training program will take you through every stage of property management - from Leasing Consultant to Property Manager, you'll be taught every facet that will allow you to manage one of our premier apartment communities! Top performers will continue on to become Area Managers , overseeing multiple apartment communities across the country. What You'll Do: Phase 1: Introductory Training (Months 1 -2) * Start locally before your first relocation * Learn our policies, Fair Housing laws, and property management software (Yardi) * Implement our signature leasing approach: the Engaging Leasing Method Phase 2: Leasing Consultant (Months 3 -12) * Relocate (furnished apartment provided) * Lease apartments and assist prospective residents * Master our leasing methods where you can train others * Market the community and monitor local competitors * Assist with resident service requests and support daily operations * Schedule and host on-site resident social events Phase 3: Assistant Property Manager (Months 13 -24) * Manage rent collection and delinquent accounts * Discuss and negotiate lease renewal terms with current residents * Train and support leasing consultants * Work closely with the Property Manager on financial reports and resident relations Phase 4: Property Manager (Months 25+) * Run the day-to-day operations of an entire property * Hire and train staff * Prepare budgets, manage vendors, and maximize performance * Schedule and monitor capital and apartment upgrade projects * Step into a leadership pipeline for potential promotion to Area Manager What We Offer: * Competitive compensation package: $35,000 -$50,000/year * Furnished 1-bedroom apartment provided upon relocation outside of your starting city * Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance * Accruable Paid Time Off (PTO) * Company-matching 401(k) Plan * Growth opportunities with internal promotions and mentorship Schedule: * Monday to Friday with occasional weekends/holidays * Overtime available * Property Managers may be required to be on-call Ideal Candidate: * Bachelor's degree (preferred) * Involvement in extracurriculars or leadership roles * Strong communication and customer service skills * Sales, leasing, or hospitality experience (preferred) * Willing and able to relocate for training and future assignments * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Valid Driver's License (required) * Reliable vehicle for transportation Possible Relocation Locations: * Florida - Jacksonville * Georgia - Canton, Evans * Kentucky - Louisville * Missouri - St. Louis and surrounding suburbs * Tennessee - Murfreesboro, Goodlettsville * Texas - Frisco, San Antonio, New Braunfels Location: In-person role with relocation required.
