Role Title: Licensed Sales Specialist Personal Lines and Life Agency: Vicki Wagener Agency LLC State: WI IL AZ CO Reports to: Vicki Wagener The Service Specialist is a staff member of the Agency and not an employee of American Family Insurance. Objective The Sales Specialist sells American Family Insurance products in a specialized product line. Maintains effective customer relationships, understands customer needs and matches them with appropriate product offerings. Promotes brand awareness through participation in agency and community events. The Licensed Sales Specialist is responsible for attracting and onboarding new clients with a focus on profitability and multi-product sales with goals for personal lines and life insurance products. Insurance Sales * Proactively cross sells and or coordinates with agency team members to provide additional coverage to existing customers * Prepares proposals and applications and delivers effective presentations in order to close sales * Complies with underwriting guidelines and contacts appropriate division for underwriting guidance when needed * Coordinates sales and review appointments with current customers * Supports and maintains and cultivates community contacts to enhance agency visibility and maximize new business opportunities * Resolve customer issues * Participates in events designed to promote brand awareness and educate consumers Knowledge and Skill Development * Continually improves knowledge in area or field of specialization, insurance industry, products, underwriting requirements, sales, customer service and supporting technology * Participates in continuing education and professional designation programs Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship Pay: $52,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance License/Certification: * Property & Casualty License (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Madison, WI 53719
