Job Description: Laux Sporting Goods is looking for an Account Manager for K-12, little leagues, amateur sports and custom online stores for teams, schools, and organizations. This position is responsible for executing and optimizing the full sales cycle, including providing required support to our customers. This hybrid environment allows you to manage local client relationships full- time and maximize sales opportunities from our headquarters office, home office, school, community, or event location. An account Manager Outside Sales will represent numerous brands by demonstrating company core values and driving the highest ethical standards of conduct in all business activities. Responsibilities * Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base. * Actively develop and qualify leads to drive additional sales opportunities. * Generate revenue and meet sales/growth targets. * Increase sales in existing accounts by selling to all sports at all levels. * Build and manage custom online stores for teams, schools, and organizations using the OrderMyGear (OMG) platform. * Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts through effective communication, follow-up, and problem-solving. * Utilize practical communication skills to establish and maintain relationships with customers: schools, coaches, athletics directors, clubs and teams listening to their needs and providing expert guidance and support * Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor activity to provide valuable insights and recommendations to customers. * Manage and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and account information and activity tracking in our CRM system to support sales and customer relationship efforts. * Manage your account list and travel on location within your assigned territory. * Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies, identify new trends and opportunities to increase sales and profitability. * Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction goals. Skills * A passion for the sporting goods industry and a proven track record in account management * Demonstrate a high level of self-direction and autonomy in managing tasks, projects, and responsibilities, ensuring efficient and independent workflow. * Must possess excellent problem-solving, organizational, multi-tasking skills and strong work ethic. * Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential, enabling effective interaction with both external clients and internal team members. * Proficiently prioritize and manage tasks, demonstrating strong time management skills to meet deadlines and optimize overall efficiency in a dynamic work environment. * Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and CRM. Qualifications * Business-to-business (B2B) sales experience (preferably in sporting goods) OR coaching/sports-related background. * A bachelor's degree in a business-related field is preferred. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. * Experience within the licensed, sporting goods, headwear, or apparel industries is strongly preferred.
