Retail Sales Associate Location: Fitchburg, Wisconsin

Position Summary

As a Retail Sales Associate at Grand Appliance & TV, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional, relationship-driven shopping experience for our customers. You'll help customers find the right appliances to fit their homes, lifestyles, and needs--guiding them through the selection process with confidence and care. Whether you're an experienced sales professional or someone looking to launch a career in sales, we provide comprehensive training, ongoing product education, and competitive commission-based compensation to support your success and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming, professional showroom environment
• Engage customers to understand their appliance needs, preferences, and budgets
• Provide knowledgeable product recommendations across premium and luxury appliance brands
• Demonstrate product features and benefits to support informed purchasing decisions
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure long-term satisfaction
• Accurately process sales transactions in accordance with company policies
• Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals through outstanding service and follow-up
• Collaborate with teammates to support showroom success and shared objectives
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current on products, promotions, and sales techniques
• Maintain showroom organization and product presentation standards
• Respond to customer questions, concerns, and follow-ups in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• Previous sales or customer-facing experience preferred; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
• Personable, enthusiastic, and confident engaging with a wide range of customers
• Positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn and develop expertise in high-end appliances
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
