Job description O'Hara Outdoors is a full-service landscaping company in St. Louis. We've been in business 30 years! Our home office is located in St. Louis, and we have a second branch located in Bluffton SC. At O'Hara Outdoors we are a small company but pride ourselves on quality and service to our customers. Responsibilities * Hire, train, coach and mentor all members of the O'Hara Outdoors Sales Team to execute strategy that enhances the brand and drives profitable revenue growth in assigned markets. * In conjunction with the Leadership Team, develop annual sales goals by division based on the agronomic calendar. * Conduct regular sales meetings and sales training sessions to help the team grow in product knowledge and sales strategies that will increase both product knowledge and communication skills for continued professional growth and improved service for our clients. * Conduct monthly ride-alongs with team members provide coaching and feedback. * Monitor and ensure team members comply with processes, procedures, activity and financial goals. * Assist with the development of proposals and presentation development for prospective and current clients. Attend meetings with team members to assist with closing sales. Include the CEO/Founder as appropriate. * Become proficient in Aspire (CRM) - creating new contacts, proposal preparation, issue tracking and use of filters, reporting, KPIs and other CRM features to manage team members and the closure of sales and sales activity. Use data to provide feedback and improve team performance. * Train team members on Property Intel and integrate maps into proposals. Help team members utilize Property Intel to accurately produce a scope of work for projects. * Monitor the status of proposals in the sales pipeline to ensure that proposals are getting approved, delivered and won in a timely manner. * Participate in the development of the annual marketing plan including sales campaigns, promotions, direct mail, client appreciation programs, and packaged service level offerings. * In conjunction with the marketing team, develop a calendar for emails, social media and online messages to promote appropriate services to our current and prospective clients based on the agronomic calendar. * Hold team members accountable for regular site audits and face-to-face meetings with clients. * Oversee the annual contract renewal process for team members. * Collaborate with landscape design and the Construction/Irrigation/Lighting Business Developer to ensure incoming lead are routed appropriately, site visits and meetings are conducted, and complete, accurate proposals are developed that meet the needs of the client. * In-person attendance at company leadership and department meetings as required, as well as continued education seminars dictated by the company. * Work with the Production Department and Account Management to secure renewals and upselling opportunities. * Assist during snow season at the discretion of snow services management. Qualifications - * Prior experience in landscaping is a must! * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Self-motivation and a passion for self-improvement * Excellence in customer service and communication * Able to be productive in a team environment but also works diligently with minimal supervision. * Managerial experience * Experience as the leader of a group. * Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office * Familiarity with Teams, Sharepoint is a plus. This position requires a candidate who is reliable and detail oriented. This will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Sales Team by providing administrative and managerial support across various functions.
