Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Business Development Representative to join our growing insurance agency. In this role, you will be the front line of our growth--connecting with prospective clients, identifying insurance needs, and building strong relationships that convert into long-term customers. This paid position is ideal for someone who enjoys outbound conversations, thrives on results, and wants to develop a career in insurance sales within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment focused on growth and service. Responsibilities * Conduct outbound calling campaigns to generate new leads and engage prospective clients * Warm call and follow up with inbound leads to assess needs and move opportunities forward * Introduce our insurance products and services, clearly explaining coverage options and benefits * Schedule appointments and hand off qualified opportunities to licensed agents or close directly (depending on licensing) * Maintain accurate records of conversations, follow-ups, and pipeline activity in our CRM * Build rapport and trust with business and personal lines clients through professional, consultative conversations * Collaborate with marketing and agency leadership to refine outreach strategies and improve lead quality * Follow up consistently to ensure a strong client experience and identify cross-sell or upsell opportunities Qualifications * Experience in sales, business development, call center, or customer-facing roles preferred * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain concepts clearly * Comfortable with high-volume outbound calling and persistent follow-up * Customer-focused mindset with an emphasis on long-term relationship building * Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar preferred) * Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently * Insurance experience or licensing is a plus, but not required (training provided) Why Join Us * Clear growth path into licensed insurance sales or account management * Supportive, team-oriented environment with strong leadership * Opportunity to build valuable sales and insurance industry skills * Performance-driven culture that rewards effort and results Join us as a Business Development Representative and play a key role in expanding our agency while building a rewarding career in insurance sales.
